Change The Brim

The Cromo 2 editon of the KEP Helmet comes with a lot of added features. THe most important is the ability to change the brim(peak) of the helmet. The visor is secured to the helmet shell with 4 standard screws. You just need a Phillips screwdriver. Here are the steps. This means you can attach a shiny wide brim visor to your existing Matt Cromo 2 regular brim helmet.

Steps for Changing Visor (Normal/Wide Polo and Matt/Shiny)

1. Turn the helmet upside down.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the 4 screws.  (2 on each side)
3. Carefully separate the brim from the helmet
4. Remove the liner.
5. Snap the replacement visor to the helmet by aligning with the attachment points.
6. Screw the 4 screws using the Phillips screwdriver.
7. Replace the liner back inside the helmet.

Hunter and Jumper Ring

The KEP Cromo 2 Matt Wide Visor Polo Peak helmet is suitable for use in both the jumper and hunter ring, because of its plain, non-flashy design.

Size

All KEP Italia Helmets come in two shell sizes: Medium and Large. The medium shell helmet accommodates liners size 51 through 58. Large Shell fits liners sizes 59 through 62.
