The pants feature a  zipper only closure. This feature provides many benefits. First, it enables a better and more secure fit. It also eliminates the “gap” from the back of the pants. Imagine not adjusting and pulling up your pants while riding. It is a liberating feeling.

No, the zipper does not come undone!

Yes, we know your question. Does the zipper ever inadvertently come undone? These breeches have been designed for a button/snap less operation. The zipper design takes that into account. For so many breeches sold now, including quite a few worn during Grand Prix and Freestyle competition, not one accident has been reported. The zipper is self locking when secured all the way up.
